A day of impulse

Yesterday, I had a day of impulse. Also known as big girl day/fat kid day. I got less than 4 hours of sleep Monday night (or rather, Tuesday morning). Then I had to be up early to get to campus. For breakfast, I had Special K and Greek yogurt. Good. For lunch, I had 3/4 of a black bean burger and steamed veggies at Chili's. Still good. Then I had my workout at 4 pm with my trainer. At that point, I had had two huge cups of coffee that hadn't helped. I figured the exercise would help wake me up. Nope. Then I was leaving campus to head towards church for Bible study. Well, I was hungry and needed to get my protein/carb recovery method on. I figured I would make it an early dinner. My mind couldn't get off of the following: a baked potato, Chick Fil A, a Coke Zero, and ice cream. So I got a Wendy's baked potato, no margarine, with the reduced fat sour cream. Then I got some Chick Fil A strips (3 count). And then, I drove to church. Well, I was early for church. And because I couldn't get ice cream off my mind, I drove to the Wendy's around the corner to get an Oreo Frosty (or as they call it, a Parfait). The only thing I didn't have was the Coke Zero (that is, until I got home and pulled a can out of the fridge). Luckily because I had eaten so well all day, I didn't go over tooo much (like 200 calories and some overage on carbs, but still within the limits of fat and protein). I had to track my food though. Even though I had a fat kid day, I'm committed to writing down what I put in my mouth.
What did I learn? Don't let me have my debit card or cash when I'm tired. Or a car. Just tell me to take a nap.
