Terrific Tuesday

Tuesday, July 26, 2011

It is such a good day today!! I got the best night of sleep I have gotten in awhile!! It feels so good to be in my own bed!! I don't hurt this morning and I even fell back to sleep after taking my medication this morning for 3 hours!! I was really tired! emoticon

I don't have much planned for the day. I just have a few errands to run. I am then going to come home and finish cleaning for my apartment inspection on Thursday. I need to vacuum and dust really good. I also will probably mop the floor again and clean the walls in the shower. I have almost everything else done...so a little cleaning today will get me some exercise in the cool air. I think the YMCA should have their cooler installed soon and I will be able to attend yoga and do other things besides water aerobics. emoticon emoticon emoticon

I was reflecting on my weekend last night. I was thinking about the acceptance I felt all weekend. The camaraderie in the room was so great!! The sharing without judgement or fear of alienation by others. It was just so refreshing!! Very seldom does a person with mental illness get to open up with having to worry about the stigma of others. There was no stigma or worry about what was said. I will say it again...it was so refreshing!! It was also exhausting!! I slept 11 hours last night, because I was so needing a good night sleep in my own bed! And was sooo...exhausted!! It is harder for me to be mentally tired than it is physically. If I was able to workout more and did it regularly, it would not be as tiring as the mental exhaustion some things cause me. Some people might not be able to relate. I hope some can and understand that being tired is not always physical!! emoticon

Well, I have gained some weight. It could be water weight. Being that TOM and eating in a restaurant for 3 days added a few pounds. Nothing drastic that can't be changed!! I am so grateful for my friend and neighbor for inviting me to dinner last night!! Home cooked food tastes so good, especially hers!! She is such a great cook!! I really enjoy her cooking and I have some for lunch today!!

I did track my food, but I didn't put it in the tracker on Spark People, It was too difficult to get amounts of things and we never ordered alone except at breakfast and that I usually put in the tracker. I did well with breakfast and snacks...usually fruit or popcorn and I drank lots of water!!

I have to say The Jorgensen Inn and Suites in Helena is a very nice hotel with a great restaurant and very friendly people. I didn't have a single problem and if there was a problem it was addressed in a timely manner. Although, like I said, I didn't have any problems with the service or food. It was excellent!! Even the sack lunch they gave us to take with us Sunday night was good!! Turkey, lettuce and wheat bread, an orange, potato salad..which was okay with the amount, a soda and I saved a cookie for my ride from Helena to Belgrade. (That is the only cookie I had all weekend, by the way!!)

Anyway, I just feel so refreshed today after my good night sleep. And ready to read my manual and do some other reading when I get home. It isn't suppose to be as hot today. It is 74 degrees right now. So, it will be nice here in Billings today.

I plan to attend water aerobics tomorrow. Today I will do some house work as my exercise. It needs to get done and I have time today.

Have a great day...and remember it is what you make it!! So make it great!!
