It is Friday and the first day I will do water aerobics this week. I deep cleaned my house the other day and that does count as exercise. I know I sure did have a back ache after that and the massage felt good yesterday!! I still hurt some today, but probably because my tylenol wore off during the night and I didn't want to take it at 2:30 am. I will take it in a few minutes. Then I am not on such a hard schedule with it. I can take it every 8 hours and if I took it at 2:30 am then I am scheduled to take my last dose earlier today and it will wear of during the middle of the night again!!
My alarm is set to music and I don't know why. I have to look at it when I am not tired!! I go right into dreams when it is set to music or should I say, the music goes right into my dreams. Not sure how long it takes me to wake up!!
I have a busy morning planned. Pick up Bobbie so she can swim laps while I do water aerobics. Take her home and then go volunteer at NAMI. Then I am going to get a hair cut. My favorite barber moved to a different salon, which is okay. I think she makes more working for someone than she was working for herself. I don't have a problem with it, anyway, but I am going to insist on her cutting my hair. It is walk-ins only, no appointments, so I just have to show up when she is working. But I am asking for her!!
I didn't put my food in the tracker last night. I did keep track, just didn't get it in the tracker. I will do that today. I have to put my new recipe in their to calculate the calories and fat anyway. It was delicious!! I used a recipe from SP and modified it using Turkey meat, mozzeralla cheese instead of parmesan and adding cottage cheese. It was like lasagna. Very tasty, and not so much work!! No layering at all. Just mix it together!!
Had Linda over to dinner and it was delicious!! We had a salad, pasta surprise, homemade french bread that Linda made...oh so good!!, and strawberries for dessert. Very tasty and great company!!
It is only 60 degrees out right now. Not getting as hot as it was a few weeks ago. Summer is winding down already!! I know we are still in for some hot weather...but not much of summer left. My birthday is only 2 weeks away and I always know that summer is close to over when my birthday gets here.
I am going to enjoy my birthday this year!! Last year I was really sick and spent the 8th of August in the Emergency Room getting an IV. I am so glad to be healthy this year!! I want to celebrate!! Not sure what I am going to do for my birthday. I know I am taking a trip at the end of the year, but I want to do something on my birthday. I'll have to talk to some friends and see what we can figure out to do!! I don't drink and I don't want to go out to eat...but maybe just a little get together would be nice!!
Then I am helping with the NAMI Bike Ride on the 12th of August and the 13th I am picking up food and taking it to the Molt Community Center. It is the only volunteering that doesn't involve doing something in the heat...which we know can be a factor in Montana in August!! I just don't do heat well at all. I was honest with Sharon when she needed help. I let her know if the Community Center didn't have air and the other jobs were handing out water...I wouldn't do well at them. I don't have to volunteer both days...but I wanted to do something on the day of the ride. I wanted to actually see Molt and the riders. I think it will be fun. I hope it won't be too hot and I can stick around for awhile at the center. I am not a bike rider nor do I have a bike, so it is not an option to ride in the ride myself.
I really prefer to walk and I am unable to do that for longer than 10 minutes. And my big preference is to do water aerobics or swim. That I can do for as long as I will stay in the pool!! I hope I can stay warm enough to stay in the pool for at least 45 minutes and maybe an hour today. I haven't swam all week and it will be good for me!!
Well, I better get to my day. Bobbie will be ready to be picked up in less than an hour and I need to get some things done before I leave the apartment.
Have a great day...and remember, it is what you make it...so make it great!!!
