This week I have done two rides. 16 miles with Amy Jean the other night and another 16 miles today. As i hopped off my bike and thought of the last tri I did. I trained by riding 400 miles for last sprint tri. This one, 32 miles. I have a lot of work to do in this area, but the bike ride is 12 miles long, so I know that I can complete this segment.
I did wear a new pair of cyling shorts. They were definitely more comfy, but still not the best on the bottom. FYI, I did check online to see if any comfort would be alleviated by shaving, and found that is not a help, and it would only make it worse.... Just in case anyone else wondered too. LOL. For 17 dollars online i did buy a pair of cycling underwear with the padding in it....And one more pair of cycling shorts off EBAY today...I
Tomorrow I plan on doing a brick. I am going to do a swim followed by the ATM machine at the gym. I feel that if I practice each segment of the tri 2 times a week, I should be fine by the tri. Again, I know that I will not beat my last time, but I should be able to complete it!
I love to ride on rail trails, does anyone else ride on them? My favorite part is looking at the peoples faces that I pass. I love when people smile. It is so contagious. Next time you are exercising try it. You might make someones day. :)
