Never Forget the Spark Way!!!!

Yes it's been entirely too long since I even checked my pages. I have been working fulltime plus at Gracedale Nursing Home, as well as just being too busy to think. But I have been keeping up my exercise even if a short workout, and have dropped to 191#. In June I was involved in a minor traffic accident with a car I owned 1 week to the day of the accident. It was obviously the other driver's fault so I filed a claim with his insurance. Turns out he dropped his insurance April 1,2011, the phone number he gave the officer is a prepaid phone that is not in service, and when they attempted to contact him at his home the family living there never heard of him. And the bonus------NATIONWIDE NEVER NOTIFIED PENNDOT THAT HE WAS UNINSURED!!!!!!!!! Our new motto for them--"NATIONWIDE WE TAKE NO SIDE". Upon notifying Nationwide their agent informed me "Pa doesn't have any law or policies requiring THE INSURANCE COMPANY to notify PennDot of cancellation, the policyholder is responsible"!!!! On printing out THE LAW from PennDot, it states "Insurance companies are REQUIRED TO NOTIFY PENNDOT when insurance policy is cancelled by insured or insurer". So apparently they are grossly undertraining their employees if this is what they tell people. But it's a known fact they will do EVERYTHING possible NOT to pay. So I went to see my state Rep, and now they will have to justify their actions and hopefully an investigation into how many other policies they didn't report will be addressed. Fortunately I wasn't bodily injured, but had there been injury or death this kid did not belong on the road!!!!! And I passed him on the way to work last Saturday so he's still driving the same car!!!!!! So anyway, we paid to have the car fixed so I can get to work. I was without it and loaning a vehicle for over a month til they got the parts(it's an older car). So if you are involved in any accident----ask the officer to RUN THE OTHER DRIVER'S INFO-DON'T GO BY FACE VALUE!!!!!!!!!! The officer did everything he was supposed to and has kept me informed of what they are doing to find this kid. THANK YOU WALNUTPORT PD FOR YOUR SERVICE TO OUR COMMUNITY!
