Small Changes and Preparing for the BIG Ones

Sunday, August 21, 2011

So I have begun to make small changes, nothing that I have been prepared to put in my fitness tracker at this point, but adding in things as the mood stikes me.

I am a few days prior to my TOM and so I am dragging physically...I have also never successfully worked out and worked at the same time. I have always thrown myself in to working out when that was ALL I had to focus on.....so yeah, I have been tired........It doesn't help that I am long overdue for my Vitamin B-12 injection..which I can get when I go to work tomorrow (THANK GOD! I was too busy Friday to get it and boy am I feeling it now!)

So I HAVE been wearing my ankle weights ALL the time, except when I am driving. They always help me effect a change so they are where I've started......I can wear them at work even since they are easily hidden under the bottom of my scrub pants.........As I wear them I will stop and do some leg lifts in various styles for different areas of my thighs and glutes...........Alittle quad set here, a little ham set there.....some skater squats over there...........I've also been keepin a dumb bell in my path so that I will occasionally pick it up and do some curls and go about my life..........I will count them out at the time but I'm not keeping track to add them to my "tracker"..............I'm hoping that these little changes, coupled with my diet changes will have me ready to jump in after my B-12 kicks in and my TOM is well under way and my energy begins to return.

Here's to a productive week! I CAN do it!
