Sunny and Hot Sunday

It is going to be a sunny, hot Sunday here in Billings!! The temperature is going to be in the 90's all week. Poor school kids going back to school this week. I feel for those classes and schools without air conditioning. emoticon

I will be volunteering twice a week at PLUK starting this week. I need to get some things done before the college work study people start working. I also have to finish getting things ready for Kid's Group and we might be going up to the college for tutoring, so will need to set up that room, too!! emoticon I feel like I am hitting the books!!

I didn't sleep well last night or should I say I took a 4 hour nap in the evening and then was up most of the night. I know I shouldn't do that, but I couldn't stay awake any longer!! My back hurt and I was all congested this morning. I know it is just allergies, but it doesn't make it any better! I hate it when I can't breathe!!

I am eating well today and tracking everything. I have already had 33 grams of fat, so not much left for the day!! I am going to Linda's for Eggplant Parmesan for dinner!! Oh, it should be really good. I got it at the Farmer's Market yesterday. I also got Linda green beans and dill and she canned dilly beans yesterday. I didn't feel like sitting and waiting for her at Same Day Care when I took her, so went downtown and walked around. It was really fun!! I got some good stuff. Eggplant, swiss chard, corn on the cob, green beans, spearmint leaves, and garlic. I didn't get a Bountiful Basket yesterday, so when I saw they were having the Farmer's Market....I decided to check it out!! I am so glad I did! Linda was thrilled to have the green beans...she canned the dilly beans and dried the rest of the dill that she had left. It is so nice to have fresh veggies!! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon I also got an acorn squash. Those are a few things I have been hungry for and I have a few things in my crisper already. Cauliflower, romaine lettuce, a tomato, zucchini, and crooked neck yellow squash. Oh, I also got bananas the other day at Sam's Club. emoticon

I am really going to try and get a Bountiful Basket tomorrow. Hopefully I will get online in time!!

Today is a resting day. Went to church and have a few things to organize in my new binder for my new calling. I also have a couple church magazines to read. Other than that, I thought I would try to come up with a challenge for the Spark Team I am co-leader of now.

I have a busy week coming up this week. 3 days of volunteering, an appointment Monday afternoon and I need to wash my towels and sheets tomorrow sometime.
