Ok so I just finished w2d2 of c25k and I DID IT!!! I DID IT ALL...I DIDNT QUIT...I PUSHED THROUGH (I DID STOP SHORT ON THE VERY LAST RUN, BUT ONLY ABOUT 7-10 SECONDS SHORT) AND THAT WAS BECAUSE I WAS TRYING TO HOLD DOWN MY BREAKFAST. I AM BEYOND PROUD OF MYSELF...I FEEL LIKE I HAVE ACCOMPLISHED SOMETHING I NEVER THOUGHT I COULD DO...I STILL NEED TO KEEP AT IT FOR SURE, AND MAYBE EVEN REPEAT WEEK 1 BEFORE MOVING ON TO WEEK 2, BUT I AM NOT GONNA GIVE UP!!! I AM SO TIRED NOW THOUGH AND I FEEL LIKE I GOT A FULL BODY WORKOUT!!! WOOHOO!!!
I DO WISH I HAD A TREADMILL TO DO IT ON SO I WOULDNT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT DOING IT IN THE HEAT, BUT FOR NOW, THE HEAT WILL HAVE TO DO!! I SURE HOPE THIS HELPS ME TO START SHEDDING THE POUNDS....
OMG I thought I was the only doing this! Every time I mention c25k my thin friends just look at me like I'm speaking another language! Glad yours went well :) I started with high hopes (in February, not so bright on my part, but was prepping for a 5k walk in April), and I repeated week 1 and week 2 twice, but got to week 3 and gave up midweek. People look at fatties on the street and I just have problems. I'm happy to see you're doing it though! I saw your pic, and I didn't even think of you as a fatty! Sorry for my blunt terms, not so politically correct lol Just hang in there, doesn't look like you have much to lose! PS I got diabetes about 4 years ago now and in the last week since I've been eating really good, my sugars without meds are 317. I know still awful, but hey, it's not the 450 fasting level I was at before! Oh yeah, and I'm a gabber, sorry bout that :) 3325 days ago
