I am just out of titles and especially snappy ones!! Not that mine are ever anything spectacular, but I try to put a new one each day, instead of just the day of the week. Oh well, creativity just isn't there this morning!
I had such a busy day yesterday! I was on the go from 5 am to 6 pm. I did come home and relax after dinner. I watched one episode of a series I am watching. It was pretty good. Then I went to bed at 10 pm and turned on some light, classical music. I was asleep within a very short time!!
I haven't been trying to read much at night. It is just to hard. I usually fall asleep and I loose my place in the book!
And that is if I am even able to read a page! I do much better reading during the day. I used to have such a hard time falling asleep...not anymore!! Now it is just the early wakening that is getting me! The more sleep I get the better my weight loss. I didn't know that and all these years of going up and down with my weight, probably had a lot to do with my insomnia and mania. Live and learn!!
We have scheduled our Peer to Peer training and it is being advertised. I am so glad it is on Monday night! I don't do much on Monday and I can rest before the class or nap if I didn't sleep good. Now the trick will be to do as I say!! I am just not good at follow through on certain things. One is relaxing or napping another is exercise. I can talk myself out of it pretty easily!! I do well with my nutrition and being positive in my life...just really don't like to exercise. I do like water aerobics once I get in the pool.
ANd the recumbent bike is okay, too.
Those two things I kinda like to do...if I get to the Y. Anymore when I am up early, it is easy to go...it is still talking myself into going that sometimes gives me a problem.
Anyway, I am still getting way too much sodium in my diet! I just don't know where it is all coming from!! (I guess I do. It is just hard to watch it throughout the day...and it adds up!) I need to get some almonds that are natural instead of dry roasted, because they usually have salt on them. And soups are really hard...because they have lots of sodium in them. I am going to make a three bean salad and I am washing off all the canned beans before I put them in the salad. How do I count the sodium then?? I know it will be high, because all the beans are canned. The onion won't have added sodium, but the oil and vinegar will. Maybe if I use Olive Oil...that will help, since it is a healthy oil. Anyway, I found a recipe on SP for the salad and it uses less of the oil and vinegar than the traditional one you buy in the store. I hope it tastes good!! I am so hungry for it. (Guess I am just plain hungry right now!!)
