Dew Worm

Well I had the pleasure of meeting with a 'dew worm' today. Actually, it was a surgeon I met. It took jumping through multiple hoops, eighteen months and several tests before I finally got to see him. I felt like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz having finally met the Wizard. That was short lived.
I am having a lapband removed. Long story but it has been a disaster since day one and I never should have gotten it in the first place. Another lesson, another story for another day.
This doctor told me I would GAIN weight after the band was removed. My exact response was, "You cocky bastard, you don't know that!"
He assured me he did.
I was so pissed off with him, I thought, I will show you!
I left there feeling completely defeated.
Life is so hard sometimes.
I can't gain anymore weight.
I have to try to be less even when I do have the surgery in October.
