Seven weeks into Weight Watchers

Wednesday, August 31, 2011

Saturday I will be starting my eighth week with Weight Watchers online. So far I have lost 2.5 pounds. Am I discouraged? Heck, no!! I am finally losing again. I don’t care that it’s slowly; it’s going in the right direction. I have only 3 pounds to go to get into the 140’s, and I haven’t been there for a long time.

I love the point system. For me, it is so much easier than counting calories. And it’s a different mindset.

So that’s where I’ve been and what I’ve been doing food-wise. Hubby and I have finally discovered roasted veggies. I am going to try green beans tomorrow. I don’t know how they will turn out, but it will be interesting.

I started WW 10 weeks ago and go to meetings once weekly. I have only lost 10.6 pounds, but every pound that I lose is one pound closer to goal than I was. It may take me a long time, but I am getting there. Last week was the first time I went and saw a gain on the scale. I know that I did not track my foods as closely as I usually do and was probably over in points too much. The system works and its really simple. Congratz on weight that you lost. You will get there.

Congrats on the loss and getting ready to ambush the 140's! 140-ville is a good place!

I finally cracked my 2+ year plateau with a short stint w/ a personal trainer & learning to do some strength training. Nothing else worked for me....for years! WW may be your golden key that opens the door! I hope so! Keep up the great attitude & diligent work!
