Just because of one meal mistake yesterday I feel like my body has taken a transformation that I don't like.
Yesterday was my DH's podiatrist appointment (about a 45 min drive one way) no problem normally he has them every 2 or 3 months. This time the appointment was at 2pm and I had a meeting to attend to that morning, so I knew we'd have to eat out at lunch.
No problem there I had a chicken salad with low fat dressing.
Everything went well, except we were running late getting home and I had failed to plan ahead for supper. What in the world was I thinking when I told myself it wouldn't hurt to grab a fast burgers and fries... just this once. I knew my calorie count would be over but not by too much.
What I didn't know is it turned me into Mrs. Hyde, today I feel irritable, bloated, and very sluggish. My body is in total rebellion. What in the world I was thinking.
Dr. Jekyll is tossing out that formula that turned me into Mrs. Hide and brewing up a new one.
The ingredients for the new one is
1) Plan ahead
2)Water instead of diet soda
3)take healthy snacks when needed
4)Have something in the freezer or refrigerator that's already cooked so you are not caught off guard
5) If you do have to eat out or in your car, find a healthy choice like a grilled chicken wrap instead of a high cal. burger
6) If tempted remember what happened this last time and think again
