Diabetes Prevention Program Weigh-in Day

My scale was really nice to me this morning...let's hope the scale at DPP is too!! I am trying not to eat too much before class at 9 am. It shouldn't be too hard, as I got 10 hours of sleep last night. I am not very hungry this morning, so will just eat enough to get by until class. Then I will bring a snack to eat in class. emoticon

I had a slow weekend. I slept a long time yesterday! I was up for an hour and then back in bed for 6 more! Last night it was 10 hours...I must really be sick! I haven't been sleeping that much for months!! emoticon Guess it is a good thing to get lots of rest and maybe this cold will go away faster! It really seems strange to be sleeping so much. Well, it is a welcomed change!! Wish it wasn't because I am sick!!

I ate really well yesterday. Stayed on track and tracked everything. I made Eggplant Parmesan last night for Linda and I. It was really tasty!! I have some left over for lunch or even dinner tonight. I will probably save it for dinner, so I don't have to do any cooking tonight. I enjoy nights when I can just heat something up.

I am suppose to get a crown started on my tooth tomorrow...but I think I am going to call and reschedule. I don't think I can breathe well enough to do that right now. emoticon I think the dentist will understand!!

    Hi Angie. I'm sorry to hear that you are sick. Get better soon! Yes, it is best to get plenty of rest when you are sick and drink plenty of fluids. Good luck and have a great day.
