Just another day in my life.

Wednesday, September 21, 2011

So today is just another day in my life. I see the dentist at 9 am. It is a different dentist. They have a sliding fee scale and will be cheaper than the $1040 I was quoted. I can see them for all my dental work. Now I just have to call my old dentist and tell the reception I won't be seeing them anymore. I hate to do that, but it is just so expensive!!

Then I will go do laundry. Bobbie is going to be home, so it won't be so boring. They don't want her to come into work yet. Nobody wants to get sick. I have been around Vance when the kids at Skyview where sick, so I don't feel too uncomfortable about going to their house to do laundry. It is free to do it there and I have all day after my appointment. emoticon Usually I have 3 hours to do laundry, so this will be nice!!

The only other thing I am doing today is taking Bobbie to the eye doctor. She had some tests and is seeing the eye doctor for the results. emoticon

Tonight is all mine!! That will be nice! I don't have any plans yet, but I am sure I will enjoy it!!

The scale went down, so the exercising yesterday must have helped. I know we fluctuate from day to day, but when it starts creeping up I know I need to do something differently! emoticon

I ate really good yesterday...was on track all day. I also tracked everything I ate. Today I have started out with a banana. That is a good start. I will also have some lite peaches and a cup of milk. Not sure what else, but I will have more than just that for breakfast. emoticon

I hope you have a great day!!

We changed Dentists last year since we found a dental clinic with much more reasonable prices, and could get a dental plan for a one time fee a year that was really resonable, and thats how you get the resonalbe rates. WE are totally happy with the new dental clinic and it's not far from our home. Good luck at the new dentists, and by the way you don't have to notify the clinic your leaving---you don't owe them an explanation why your going elsewhere---unless you have to cancel an appointment you have scheduled of course.

    Hi Angie,

I will also be changing dentists at the end of the year and really feel bad. My insurance will change and she's not part of it. I will not be able to afford her. On the plus side, one of my neighbors is a dentist and she is part of my new plan. Also, she is a wonderful person.

Sounds like you have your day well planned. You're doing good on staying on track. Great job!

Have a great rest of the week!

    hugs....Mary Anne
