My mouth is out of control.....

Wednesday, September 21, 2011

This week has not been a good one in the "eating well" category. I have stayed within calorie ranges, but I can say that they haven't been good calories.....and I have noticed something about the pattern....

I have not been able to run.....Friday was a scheduled day off....the kids had a 1/2 day, I was feeling good, as I had run 21 miles...good week.

Saturday I should have run 4 - never happened - Crazy kid schedules did not allow....nor did it happen Sunday.....

Monday I watch my niece, and she was running a temp, and it would have been cruel to stuff her into a jogger for a run....

Yesterday - well - my 9 miler was scheduled yesterday - but I had my first mammogram scheduled for 11....couldn't get it in before the bus, and when I came out of the Dr., the rain was coming in buckets...no run....

Today - more niece....more whiney little baby - she is teething and working on a cold....so no run.....

So - I have eaten like crap - not a good excuse. .... but it is what it is....I'm also feeling LAZY......I think I have the "hibernation" mode kicking in....not sure...

OK - I'm done whining....tomorrow is another day - I really need to get the long run in - and they are predicting more rain ---- why on my days off from my niece is it rainy??????

UGH.....so if it's not a down pour I will do it - it's a no go if it's a downpour and we will push until Friday ---- and then I will feel as if I am behind - but I guess if I get the long run in - all should be OK.....

I am 4 weeks and 4 days from my 1/2.

On a cool note - I found out today that Life is Good is doing the T's for the half....how cool!!!!

Fingers crossed you get your run tomorrow!!
I must say that since I've been injured, my eating has been less than stellar. It has set off my bingeing.

I can certainly appreciate how you're feeling - life gets in the way sometimes, doesn't it? And you're just like me when your schedule gets changed - it throws us off our game. I CAN adjust, I just don't want to HAVE to!! LOL

You also know my motto "One Day at a Time" - hopefully tomorrow will go your way and that rain will hold off for a little while anyway.

You are doing fine... like you tell me, it will all happen and there are some days/weeks that we just can't get to it... it's ok... just imagine your next run will be amazing b/c your body will just want to go!!! It's all good...

Love that Life is Good is doing the shirts... so awesome!!! We will be great... regardless of eating and feverish neices... xxJ

Focus on the positive, and the things you CAN control! So many things you are dealing with now are out of your control! One day at a time!

Your staying in your range - GOOD JOB!
Remind your self that even though your staying in range that the junk your eating could cause a gain. You don't want to have a gain for our Challenges for Sparkers this week & get points taken away (like I did last week - oops!).

My mileage will be pathetically low this week. I did 3.1 yesterday. Tomorrow I'll 3.1 again. Saturday is my 5k race, so that's another 3.1. 9.3 miles! Good grief. Sounds like I'm not even trying.
My legs are feeling tired. I guess those 11 miles on Saturday took something out of me because I still do not feel recovered. So, I'm not worrying about the low miles. I think my body need the rest. Yours will probably appreciate it too.
Next week we will up it.
