Time for Re-prioritizing....

Well I had a gain of 0.6 pounds this week. Some of it is water weight, I am sure...as I continue to have bleeding since I had my surgery Sept. 7th. My week started out with a bang. I was working the cardio AND the strength training. Towards the end of the week, I kind of fizzled out. I basically did my basic workout...I did not even attempt to do more. So, for this...I apologize to all my team members. I know the weight is not going to come off by itself. I know I have a lot of weight to lose. I know I have to be willing to work out and eat healthy to lose it. I just don't seem to have the stamina to go all week for some reason. I start out each week strong, but end up eating something I shouldn't...which leads to eatimg more and more of things I shouldn't eat. Some of this has to do with the change in shift that I am now working. I get home now at 2:45 pm and go to bed by 9 pm every night. In this time, it seems all I want to do is eat. I am tired from working so I don't always feel like putting in a huge workout. My attitude needs to change...or I am going to become even more obese than I already am. I have learned all the things I need to know...I just need to implement what I have learned more often. So I think I need to do some self-reflection and reset my priorities. And with that...good night.

    Amen to that! There are a good many of us in this same situation and it's a struggle for us all. Hang in there - we have faith in you! emoticon

    If you need to cut back on workouts.. do so.. to try and build a sustainable level. You are putting in a LOT of working out... even with fizzling during the week. But whatever you do don't beat yourself up. That always leads to problems.. like overeating.

    This weekend, the challenge is all about NOURISHing our bodies.. do workouts but focus on eating well to nourish your body. :) You are so worth it! And i know you can do it!

    And a shift change and the surgery are bound to wear you out. Make sure you are getting your rest... enough protein.. and take care of yourself. You are more than a number on a scale! This is for YOUR HEALTH. So find the balance. You are worth it!!

    What kind of surgery?

    Are you taking any vitamins? If you're bleeding, maybe you might be becoming anemic, and that makes you more tired--add a shift change and no wonder you're struggling.
