Where has September gone?

I can't believe September is almost over already! I started the month with a week's vacation in Seattle with my hubby. We attended the first two games of Husky football season. It was the nicest weather I've ever experienced since he moved up there four years ago. There was no rain and it was in the 80s every day.

We took advantage of the great weather and went on a hike at Franklin Falls in the Snoqualmie River area of Washington. It was a decent hike not too strenuous; one mile each way and was absolutely beautiful!






I hope to have more opportunities to hike and explore the Snoqualmie area.

While I was gone our son got a job at a local store. Our daughter is adjusting to living away from home in her first apartment and her dental hygiene program.

Our weather is So Cal is still pretty hot where we live so I'm still enjoying the pool after work. I water jog and do some kicks then just relax on a floating lounge. I'll miss it when it starts to cool off, with any luck we won't have to shut the pool down till the end of October.
