What a WONDERFUL day!:)

Saturday, September 24, 2011

Today was an incredible day!!! On top of having GORGEOUS weather, we spent the morning talking to my parents and then we walked up to an Arts & Crafts fair on the square. Had so much fun talking to the vendors (and buying new goodies!:) ). Then after we got back to my parents house, my mom told us about a bazaar going on in Blairsville at one of the churches. So, of course I had to hit that too. Spent an hour just wandering around looking at the things they had. Did get some zucchini bread which probably wasn't the best choice but it felt so moist, I had to get some! I figure as long as I only eat one piece it won't be too bad.:)Oh! and then I got home and my fitbit was waiting for me! Wish I had been wearing it today:)

I just love days like that!! How wonderful to share that. It's nice to take a minute and reflect on simple things like that.
That fitbit sounds interesting. I'll have to look that up:)

A fitbit is basically a super pedometer. It tracks all your steps and calories burned and automatically downloads your activity info to their website. You also add in any other activity you did for the day and it figures it in for you. You can also wear it to bed and it monitors your sleep. Like last night I was in bed for 8 hours and 19 minutes but only slept 7 hours and 27 minutes of it. It tells you how long it took to go to sleep and how many times you woke up. Pretty cool I think!
