The dentist appointment...not too painful!
Wednesday, September 28, 2011
Well, I woke up slowly this morning. I even stayed in bed to stretch like I see my cat do every morning! It felt good! Then I worked out and went to the dentist. The price at this dentist is way more reasonable than my last dentist. I have 2 cavities and still need that crown, but for all of that it is the same price as just the crown at my old dentist! Wow! What a difference! I do have to make a down payment when they start the crown, but that is okay. They have no history with me and no way of knowing I will pay my bill. I do really like the new dental clinic. And my new dentist is great. He always has a big smile on his face and is so nice to me. He and I go to the same church and he is the one that got me into the clinic. Normally it is really difficult to get into this clinic, but it does help to know someone in the know!
I decided to do my laundry tomorrow. I just didn't have enough time between the dentist and going to the tutor room to finish it. Tomorrow will be better. I will have all morning and until about 2 pm to finish. That way if I have a lot of laundry, I know it will all get done. I am not doing it at a laundromat, so it does take longer as I have to do one load at a time. Guess most people do it that way. I would prefer to do it at home...but I have no washer and dryer in my apartment. Oh well, the advantages and disadvantages of apartment dwelling!!

Most days I feel fortunate that I have a place to live...because some people don't! Or they live in motel rooms. That would be really hard...as I like to spread out a little. Especially when I make cards or do scrapbooking!
I ate really well yesterday, but will not win the 25 pound challenge I entered with the team I co-lead. Oh well, I hope I get to my goal weight by November Diabetes Prevention Plan weigh-in. I have about 14 pounds to go. Not sure if that is even possible. I know it wouldn't be very healthy to lose that much in a month...but I sure wish I could! I do want to be below 200 before I take my trip in December. I will keep plugging along!!
Saturday I will be scoring the 25 pound challenge for July-September. Not too many people have been checking in, so I hope a few more weigh in before Friday night.
I hope everyone has a great day. It is in the 70's here in Billings and the sun is shining!
