Dinner at a friends.

Sunday, October 09, 2011

Today ended up being a long day. I got up early and was walking in my living room around all of Snickers boxes and a couple others I have packed for my trip. Anyway, I feel over one of the boxes and my neck is so sore! It feels like the kink in the muscle that I had last week. I am sure it is nothing serious, just a very sore muscle. I have tried several things to work it out. I am going to water aerobics in the morning and then I am going to sit in the hot tub at the gym. I think the exercise will maybe work out the kinked feeling in the muscle and the hot tub will relax it. Not sure if I will make the whole 45 minutes of class, but I do want to go and try to loosen up these muscles!!

Dinner at my friends was excellent. She made everything homemade except the tortillas. It was a big mexican feast. All her family that lives in town and her kids from Great Falls are here. It was a fabulous dinner. I didn't eat a lot today, but the dinner was good. I don't have a good way to estimate my calories or fat for the day, so it is not getting put in the food tracker. I wasn't stuffed, but I was full. I only took one serving of what I wanted. I did eat some chips, which I usually only eat 1 serving. I know I had more than that today. Well, some days I eat a little more. And on my lifestyle plan, nothing is out of limits. I even had a piece of carrot cake. It was also fabulous!!

Well, I think it is almost time to ice my neck and then some more heat. Something has got to help!!

Hope it was a great weekend for all you Sparkers!!

I've been told that I only have to be good 90% of the time with my nutrition, so I try to let amazing meals like that be part of my 10%. I'm sure it was worth every calorie :)
Hope your neck feels better soon.
