I have had three migraines in the last 12 days.....
the first one lasted 3 days
the second on i caught super early and cut it off before it really developed,
and the third one came on in the middle of the night 2 nights ago and is STILL lingering.....soooo 6 of the 12 days iv had a headache....grrrr

All three times i have gone to the chiropractor and had some relief....but not compleat relief....i makes it somewhat bearable, and helps with the nausea and the sensitivities to light and sound.

Usually im triggered by food, but unless my food triggers have drastically changed in the last 2 weeks, i am not eating the wrong things. I cant eat to much or the foods that help me to gain weight if i cant eat anything right LOL ....always gotta find the silver lining!!!

heres to hoping the meds kick in! ! ! =0)

Thank you Ennaid2...if they continue i will take to the doc about preventative meds. I also have a large pineal gland cyst in my brain and i am thinking that i need to have an MRI asap to make sure its not growing or changing because of the crazy change in my headaches (its now 8 days in the last 14). I plan on calling the doc in the AM...

Hi, I have had migraines since I was 21 yrs old. Your experience matches mine. I tolerated these migraines. My doctor finally step in. I started off with Imitrex in pill form. Helped but pill took time to have effect and sometimes because of the delay would have a full fledged headache. (3 day, vomiting, dark room, ect). He then tried Imitrex nose spray and that worked really well. The only time I could not nip the migraine before it took hold is if it started during the night. I would wake up with a full fledged headache - but much milder than before. Last year I had 24 migraines in 35 days. Went back to the doctor and he prescribed Ran-lisinopril (5 mg) and Elavil (25 mg). These medications are meant to prevent the migraine from starting at all. Well that certainly worked. I still get the occasional migraine but they are few and far between. See what your doctor has to say. Good luck
