I need to run more. I don't run enough to be training for a half marathon. So, starting tomorrow..I am running more. =) Sis in law ran without me today so I am running without her tomorrow. Plan is to do 7 miles. Suck. By myself. Looks like I'm cranking the tunes and getting lost in the music. I WANT to do this, I just don't like running by myself. But I know I CAN do this.

So, this week's plan is the following:
Sunday: 7 miles
Monday: Cross/ST
Tues: Hills/speedwork-3 miles
Wednesday: Cross/ST
Thursday: 5 miles
Friday: 5 miles
Saturday: Rest

I plan on logging about 17-20 miles this week. No matter what I WILL do the 7 miles by myself tomorrow. I didn't run a quarter marathon today bc I didn't want to do it by myself. Now I regret it. It has motivated me to do whatever I want to do no matter who is with me. =)

In 13 days I'm running a 15k...I need to get myself into shape! I love running and I need to do more of it!

    I didn't think I'd like running alone either, but I found that I really enjoy the time and space to myself. If that's not for you, then maybe plan to meet a friend once a week, or have coffee afterward? Definitely use routes that you like!

    I almost always run by myself and I have found it to be very wonderful actually. It is a time when there are no demands on me, I don't have to talk to anyone, no one knows me so I'm just doing it for myself. It is a wonderful feeling once you get used to it. I crank the music and enjoy the fact that all I have to worry about for the next 30-60 minutes is running.

    Love your running plan :) If you have Nike+ they have some cool coach programs to help you train for your events. I have a new goal myself of running at least two days a week while in school no matter how busy I am. Lets do this! emoticon
