Plan to make it through the holidays

Since I just got re-started with Spark about a week ago, I finally got around to doing my body measurements today. They weren't off much from where I left off (a year and a half ago!). Happily, I did NOT regain all the weight I lost from my last effort!! (I'm about 5 lbs short of where I left off.)
What I discovered is that by doing my measurements today, that once a month will fall AFTER the big holiday FOOD days: Thanksgiving and Christmas. This will likely keep me on track from over doing it on those days, since I won't want to lose progress gained!! Thanksgiving and Christmas are small, family affairs around this house, and only 1 or 2 Christmas parties, so I think I'll be in good shape.
On Thanksgiving, I usually make a small vege/meat/cheese/cracker platter for small snacks while helping to prepare dinner for the 3 of us. Also, Lexi and I plan on doing a 5 mile Gobbler Gallop walk/run in the morning. That should help, too!
I work Christmas day, so it will be like any other day at work as far as food goes, unless someone brings treats in!
I will TRY to limit my Christmas baking - and give away MORE than I save! :)
I reorganized my favorite foods in my food tracker to make things easier (all cereals listed as "Cereal, Special K", etc for my own ease of use.
And in these colder months, I am TRYING to get more water in....
