Weekend Ahead...

Saturday, November 05, 2011

Hi All,

First of all I want to say thanks for all your prayers and kindness expressed in your many notes you have left here. Much appreciated. I feel so loved...

Tonight I am feeling better than I did this morning, the pain has really come down, there is some but am trusting the Lord for His complete touch of healing upon my body.

Every week I post a Prayer Focus in our Church Bulletin...Every week we focus on a different topic complete with Scripture to support the Prayer Theme. I am thinking of sharing it in my weekend blogs, praying it will be a blessing to you also...

Another thing I do is once a month I bring a Missions up-date to our Congregation in the Sunday morning service on one of the Missionaries we support in our Church, I am their Missions coordinator and oversee this part of the ministry. This Sunday is Missions Sunday and I need to be feeling much stronger so I can bring this up-date... I thank you for your prayers in advance.

Have a Blessed and Jesus Filled Weekend, my prayers go with you, I thank God for each one of you, you have made me feel so loved...You are a blessing in which I thank God always.

In closing here is this week's Prayer Focus I posted in this week's Church Bulletin:

Prayer Focus for Week of November 6, 2011

Pray for Unity within the Body of Christ

• Pray that we will demonstrate Godly Love to one another
• That we would be devoted to prayer
• That we would be good stewards of the resources God gives us
• That we would engage in good deeds and be fruitful vessels God can use
• That we will be Bold Witnesses, proclaiming the Gospel message to others
• That we would be servants that would walk in a manner worthy of our calling

Scripture Focus

John 13:34 (New Living Translation)
So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other.

Ephesians 4:1-3 (New Living Translation)

1 Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God. 2 Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. 3 Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace.

Ephesians 6:19 (New Living Translation)
And pray for me, too. Ask God to give me the right words so I can boldly explain God’s mysterious plan that the Good News is for Jews and Gentiles alike.

Ephesians 6:18 (New Living Translation)
Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere
