nov week two

Tuesday, November 08, 2011

So here we are Nov week two. I haven't weighed in a week for fear mostly. Last time I weighed I was up a pound. I am finally in the 170s and have been about a month now. Proud of that but it has all slowed now. I so want to see more progress by December. I started a low sugar and carb change yesterday. Going to see how that works for me. I feel better already and its only been one day so I am hopeful. Every Christmas I am so tired of the fat Christmas pictures. I am the biggest person in them all and I want to wear cute clothes for Christmas. Feeling a bit down that here I am at another November ,its been ten months and all I lost was 13 pounds. I know its just because of not working my plan and my will power sucks. But on a positive note..... I have seven weeks or so to lose more weight. So here goes nothin....gonna shoot for the stars and reward myself if I make it. I want to be in the160s by Christmas.

You can do this! Sometimes we just go a little slower than we want, but even though it doesn't seem like it, slow is the best way to go. I think the 13 pounds you've lost is great. Keep up the good work! HUGS!

A slow rate of weight loss is the easiest to keep off for the long term. So just stick with it. Don't allow your fear to derail your success. Get on that scale at least once a week - SELF-MONITORING is crucial, and weighing is one key part of it.

    I'm cheering for you! emoticon

Even if the loss is slow, it is still a loss! 13 pounds is a LOT, and it does add up! I know what you mean though about the Christmas Pictures... sometimes it doesn't "hit" me how big i've gotten, then holidays roll around and people take out their cameras... whoooo boy. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other and you will get there!!!
