Even a Sick Day Can Have a Bit of Pleasant Exercise

I'm under the weather this weekend--had chills at bedtime and throughout the day the last couple of days. Minor sore throat. Decided today there'd be no running, just eating well, and taking care of essential tasks. (I scheduled today's day off months ago, perfect sick day! I was off anyway!)
One thing, though: NO movement just felt cruddy. I wanted to read my new book, "Wheat Belly", and also take a nice little walk. It's windy as heck outside, so that's a no go.
I set my treadmill for 20 minutes, 3 mph, and read my book. I was disappointed when the 20 minutes was up and the treadmill stopped! Off to pick up my child from school having done myself a bit of good. Reading and running--my favorite things--together!
I continue to experience such deep gratitude that I'm fortunate enough to have a treadmill!
