I've mentioned before that I find it difficult to stay on task on the weekends. The normal structure of my weekdays/workdays is not there, so it's easier to stray. Now, however, the real test begins because now I am on Christmas Vacation for the next two weeks! One of the perks of being a teacher However this year, I have the challenge of staying on the path I've set for myself...to lead a healthier life.
I've cleared out the cupboards of any unhealthy snacks and went to the market to stock up on lots of fruits & veggies. The one plus is that now I have the time to go walking in the afternoon. Normally, I get home after dark and its too late to walk. I'm trying to schedule activities for each day and plan ahead so that I don't have too much free time...that tends to get me in trouble.
Planning your healthy snacking and exercise is a *great* start to a more fit and healthy vacation. I also suggest Sparking daily, and report plans or progress on your teams or with a buddy. 3260 days ago
Wow, you sound so motivated ~ I love it! I'm confident you'll pass the test! You are prepared on and track!
Do you teach in the St. Louis area somewhere? I taught for SSD for my last 17 years of teaching (29 total). I was placed in the Parkway district before retiring in 2008. Oh how I loved my winter break when I was teaching! Enjoy and refuel!
