How Far I've Come

I started this new journey in life on August 20th of this year. Four months ago, yesterday. How far I've come! I have learned new ways to eat, new ways to exercise, but most importantly, new ways to THINK and FEEL.

New ways to eat: I track ALL my food. The good, the bad, the ugly. I have learned where the hidden salt and fat is.

New ways to exercise: I started out doing Wii fit and have moved on to treadmill (now up to 2 miles), exercise videos (annoying, but get the job done), and my newest addition...a pedometer.

New ways to think and feel: I actually THINK about how I'm moving and how I feel when it's done. My body image has improved 100-fold! I used to avoid mirrors at all cost. I started WATCHING my body changes in a mirror in August and LOVE seeing the changes. I LOVE MY MIRROR! I used to focus on the XX left to lose. Now I focus on what I've accomplished!

How far have I come? I would honestly say that I am truly a new creature, inside and out!

You can do this too! Just take it one step, one bite, one thought at a time!

    p.s. I am now down 30.4 lbs, dropped 6 pts in my BMI and lost about 15" in overall girth! Life is GOOD!!!
