Today is the start of slow and steady changes. I have set a goal of
losing 100 lbs in one year. I know it is something I can do as long
as I stick to the plan and don't give up. This is about changing my
life for the better and not just about losing the weight. Its about
getting healthy so that I can continue to do the things I love.

I start todays jourey at 267 lbs. Yes, I said it, 267 That is
the heaviest I have every been and it is embarrassing. My ultimate
goal is to get down to between 145lbs and 150 lbs. So there is a lot
of hard work and dedication ahead of me.

Last night I started excercising. My goodness was I pouring sweat by
the end, but it felt great. I did 30 minutes of work and that was
enough to start with. My goal is to work out at least 30 minutes, 4
times a week to start and then build from there.

The last two seasons of the Biggest Loser have been incredibly
motivating. I want to run a marathon. I want to become an athlete
instead of a couch potato. Stay tuned for great things to come.
