Slightly demotivated tonight

Monday, January 23, 2012

I'm having a difficult time today. Today was weigh in day. Now logically I know I probably wasn't going to see a loss this week. Even though this is my first full week of regular exercise. Why?? Because I wasn't going to see a water weight loss since I'm already drinking tons of water and I modified the types of food I eat months ago.

Logically I know all of this. BUT IT STILL SUCKS!! Especially since I went up half a pound. To top it all off, I feel lousy physically today. I couldn't seem to get my get up and go today. For the first time in months I'm experiencing the all over body pain I was having over the summer. I had a vicious headache all day long. Whine, whine, whine.

On the bright side of things, I purchased the Sparkpeople 28 Day Bootcamp DVD. I downloaded the coupon and bought another set of light 3lb weights so I wouldn't over do it. I watched it today to get a feel for the moves. I'm hoping this stupid headache is gone by 4:50am tomorrow morning so I am able to work out in the morning.

I'm still going to buy the Tanja Djelevic DVD. In fact I ordered it from Amazon and it showed up on Friday. That was great. I opened it up in anticipation only to find the manufacturer had put the wrong DVD in the case. :( Not happy about that. So off to another website to purchase the DVD. I really like this instructor and have two other DVD's featuring her.

Okay...it's late and I need to relax for a few so I can sleep tonight. Have a great evening and I hope everyone's Monday is wonderful. Over and out.

Sometimes it takes a few weeks to start seeing results. Don't give up! And that sucks about your DVD.
