New Year, New ME!

I would love to say that I am half way to my weight goal I set last April, but I am not. What I can say is that the change in my attitude toward food, and the change in the way I view myself has been undeniable!! My energy level is UP. My moods don't swing the way they did when I was consuming so much sugar and starch. My sleep is more restful. My temper doesn't flare like it used to. I can tell a difference in my breathing, my resting heart rate and my skin! I am better hydrated. I have better stamina (can walk farther, faster and longer). I have only had two bad colds in the last 8 months instead of being sick for six months of the year! Yes, there are major improvements!!! So, making progress on this journey is so much more than a number on the scales. I long for that number to go DOWN!! But, I know it takes time to lose a little after 45. Patience, diligence, perseverance..... It will come down.
