Oh dear.. have I f-ed up this weekend!! I feel so ashamed!

I went back to my old eating habits and I might have also gained a little weight! :( I did not even exercise once!

Logging food was also bad - I felt guilty and did not track what I've eaten all weekend! I now can't even remember what I had for lunch/dinner.

The only positive thing out of this is that I realise the damage that I've done - and I feel SO guilty. BUT I will not let this defeat me.

I am now back with a vengeance!!

Here's to an awesome week! emoticon

At least you see where things went wrong and you know how to make your changes. All the best for a better week ahead!

I actually recommend a slightly different approach than the others that have commented. DO beat yourself up about it. Make damn sure you remember the feeling you had when you were typing this post. You DON'T want to go through THAT again do you? Remember how you felt, and let that motivate you to not let it happen again.

You have the ability to be your biggest motivator if you use past experiences to motivate you to keep going!

Now, with all that said, do NOT feel like a failure and just stop all together. That's a horrible idea. Look at my blog history, I've had failures just like you did, but I got right back to it (just like you are), and I'm still pressing on. There's other people that responded that said the same thing, they've failed along the way...it happens.

In the big scheme of things, your week of weakness isn't the end of the world, but let it motivate you to stay the course!

Don't beat yourself up. Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and just get on with it from where you are right now. Just think of it as round two. Gloves back on ... GO!!! Love ya!!! (((Hugs)))

That's right Steph! Just make a fresh start. I've had a "weak week" myself. Tomorrow is my weigh-in day and I'm a little worried. It's funny how we trick ourselves into thinking if we don't log the food then it doesn't count toward our calories. You're young, pretty, and smart and I have all the faith in the world that you're gonna succeed. Put on some Metallica and get to dancing!

It's good you're putting the breaks on and getting back into it! That's the biggest thing- getting back into the new habits if you've slipped back into old (bad) ones.

Don't feel guilty or bad, just get back on track - you can do it.
