feeling really sick lately.
have been running really high fevers this week. up and down but has goten over 104 several times. and have been fighting severe migraines. and severe vertigo attacks. I felt "forced" to work yesterday ( good thing yesteerday was the best day of the week or me) then last night, migraine slammed again, high fevers, throwing up light sensitive. my mi8graine meds have helped some but at other days none.
Called in today and said I just cannot work. they understand and are praying I get to feeling better.
does one continue to do "light stretches and workouts while feeling this way?" I usually ride on a stationary bike. due to my chron9ic vertigo, walking and running and even an outdoor bike ride is usually not doable for me. anyone know?
I am not doing anything today with this fever and migraine but just wondering. today the fever is about 102.7 right now. and that is with my migraine meds taken with ibuprofen.
hubby is thinking if it doesnt get better I might need to go to er and get a shot. sigh. I am beyond making rational decisions. I think.
and landlord says I can drive their car while they are away! HA! NOT!/ I am not gonna put my life at risk, destroy their car or kill and maime any passerbys if I do blackout as I have in the past. that is what I feel like may happen at anytime. throat feels swollen and head feels like someone stabbing it with icepick. but hubby is at work and not home.
if this post makes no sense. just ignore. It may only be ramblings. I hurt.

Could it be linked to epilepsy? Is it a new condition or something that's been going on for a while?
Anyways, a fever that high is NO good!
Let us know what the doctor says!

A fever is usually a sign of an infection, it's your body's way of fighting illness. Your temperature goes up as your body fights whatever has gotten into your body. Be it an infection or a bug of some kind.
Now-a-days they say a slight fever, 101 or 102, you are okay. Once that fever is getting to 104 and above it is very dangerous. What can happen is you will black out, you can suffer from brain damage,
I think that you definitely need to get to a hospital and get checked out. If it were a cold I would say light exercise is okay. It sounds to me like you have something else going on and it is a lot safer to get it checked out than to ignore your body.
Stay hydrated though. Drink lots of water and even have some gatorade. You don't want the fever to dehydrate you. That could be part of why you are getting the migraines so badly and so frequently. There are many times that a migraine is brought on simply by your body not having enough water...it needs it.
I hope you feel better soon.

I agree with Truckerwife2......GET A FEVER OVER 102 checked out...Fever is not a symptom of migraine. Something else is going on and you need help with it. emoticon

Can you call a friend to take you to your doctor or urgent care? When fevers get up to 104 that's pretty scarey. Hope you get well soon. Please, please go to the doctor with a friend. Let us know how you are doing. emoticon emoticon
