Week 11 - Deja Vu

It's been 11 weeks, and I've lost 20.5 lbs! WOOHOO! How exciting! Wait.....this feels like deja vu. Right, I've done this already....two weeks ago....I was at 20.5 lbs! Then last week, I mysteriously gained 3.5 lbs. I had gained those all week long, not just a spike on weigh in day. One or two days after weigh in, I lost two of them, and I've been working on the other pound and a half all week.

So, while I'm VERY happy to be back at 20.5 lbs (and happy to put the 'lost 20 lbs' pic back on my sparkpage), I feel like nothing's really changed in the last couple weeks since I was here two weeks ago. Oh well, here's to moving on, getting past the blip in the road, and never seeing the 180's ever again!!

I'm kind of hoping to be down 15 lbs in the next two months. In two months is when camping season starts, and I'd like to be at the weight that I always halt at, the weight where everyone notices the weight loss and tells me I look great and I stop at. I wont this time though. But, I was hoping to be there by camping season, but 10 lbs would be great too. 10-15 lbs is my goal for the next two months :) Let's do this!!

    I feel like I've been going through exactly what you just described for the past few weeks. I know the feeling of getting to that point and then the weight loss stopping for one reason or another. Keep plugging away- vacation is my goal in less than 3 months so let's do this together :) Best of luck! emoticon

    First, thank you for sharing. Most of us have been at that spot where, all of a sudden, the scale becomes our arch enemy. At that point, sometimes I've quit; I swear this time will be different.

    I've been here 2 months, so almost as long as you, and a couple of weeks ago I hit a plateau where the scales refused to move. At that point, rather than doing what I've done in the past, I went back to look at calorie count and nutrients. I compared a variety days/weeks where I lost and adjusted my calorie count and nutrients to be similar to those times. The scales moved. I am so encouraged by this site and the sharing, and I want to do it right and completely this time!!
