The momma is trying to stick to "the plan" and Roo is learning more about swimming. Yesterday, I blew off my workout
and stayed home all day. I woke up feeling like someone had taken sandpaper to my throat. I *could* have gone to bootcamp, I just didn't. I now owe Kidsport $15. On the plus side, plenty of fruits and vegetables were consumed and I made my water quota. Mostly because of my tea w/honey.
Today, Roo and I went to her second swimming lesson. IT WAS AWESOME! First, the instructor had us dip their chins in and then put them in a back float. We're not allowed to really hold them so I just kept a handle on the frills of her swimsuit. Next we had to submerge them. This made me seriously nervous as I'm not very comfortable dipping my own head in the water BUT I/we did it. She rocked it. She also made it through the double submerge w/o freaking out. More than once. I was such a proud momma.
My calories today are even better than they were yesterday. I consumed MORE fruit and vegetables than I usually ask of my meal plan. Water's a little lacking but I've not gone to bed yet.
I got the cutest picture of Roo today. Paul was on Skype talking to her and she was listening to every word through the headphones and watching every silly face he made.
Anyway, my goals for Wednesday are:
~ go to stroller group and run club.
~ drink 64 ounces of water.
~ consume a minimum of 5 fruits and vegetables.
~ keep on top of a few housekeeping duties.
~ turn my rolled coins in to the bank for USD.
~ take my wedding rings to the second hand store to see if I can sell them.
~ take the recyclables in.
Big list. I hope I get to check it all off. All I need to do is stay organized.
