A new week
Monday, March 26, 2012
Today is Monday and the start of a new week. I am up early and feel rested. I already ate breakfast, although it was a bit unique as breakfast's go. I had eggrolls. I was hungry for them and they have a meat, veggie and grain (at least I think the wrap is considered a grain...I could be wrong.)
I volunteer this morning and I am going in early so I can drop Bobbie at the gym. Then I can get a good start before my work study student comes to find out what she needs to do for me. Things are starting to wrap up for most of the programs I work with anyway. Tutoring ends the last week of April as will most of the work study students. Kid's Group is done in May and Family Support is never ending during the school year. Guess if I don't have anything else to do I will pick up a case or two. Next week Melissa and I will be the only ones in the office trained for family support. Bobbie, Tom and Eric will all be on vacation. Bobbie is going to Vegas and Eric is going to California. Not sure where Tom is going. Roger will also be out. He is the executive director and sometimes challenges the family support cases to those around the state. I am sure he will be available by email. He usually is anyway.
It will be quiet in the office and as usual, Sheryl will probably close the office early everyday. She isn't suppose to, but listens to no one when we let her know it needs to stay open until 5 pm. She thinks she runs the office anyway. I just let her have her delusion!
I forgot to weigh myself this morning. I think my new weigh in day will be Wednesday, anyway, although I usually weigh myself everyday. I don't need extra pounds creeping up on me without me knowing.
It really depends on how much sleep I get on how much I weigh in the morning. I thought I ate really bad one day last week and got a good night's sleep and was down again when I weighed in the morning. Amazing!!
Exercise is hit and miss. I am hoping I can go to water aerobics again 3 days a week after my work study is done for the year. Not sure when she is done. I will have ask her how many hours she has left when I see her today.
She is a hard worker and does everything without complaint. It is great to have her when I am really busy. Not so great when I don't have much for her to do.
Well, I better get going. I have lots to do before I pick up Bobbie at 7 am.
Hope you all have a great day!! Remember, it is what you make it...so make it great!!
