Week 2 Recap of Results

March 22 marked the first day of the second week of my low carb eating plan. I went into the week just brimming with determination. I had some success under my belt, but I wanted more!!
Here are my results:
WED: 3/22 starting weight 166.6
Weekly weigh ins-
3/23 164.6 (almost fell over!!)
3/25 Sun 161.8 OMG!!!!!!!!
3/27 Tuesday 161.2
3/28 Wednesday 162.0
My loss for the week was 4.6- it has been so long since I could post a number like that! Theses two weeks have felt great! I have lost 8.6 since starting...and I am so glad I started when I did so I can change how I feel about myself this summer- I have hope that I can get closer to my goal!
First of all- I am thrilled that my BMI is no longer in the obese range! Yahoo!
I really tracked my food, and I got a lot of exercise this last weeK:
Thurs- walked to preschool and around neighborhood
Fri- TReadmill workout
Sun- rode over 10 miles to the beach and back
Tuesday- walked over 4 miles in the city
Some quotes from the journal I carry with me, from last week:
3/22- If I get nothing else done today, I will still feel like I accomplished A LOT (written after I logged my exercise)
3/24- I hit 163.o and overweight BMI..and wrote: I canNOT get lazy today! This is so exciting!
Perspective gained this week came from Lorie and Nancy. I kept talking about needing the 163.o to stick- I didn't want to gain it back. THe reminded me I should look at this like a staircase and not think of the step I was on....but to look ahead to the next step! Well, I will do that! It sure is more exciting to look at the possibility of success rather than that of failure!!!
