Thursday in the 'Burgh!

Leaving Calgary on Thursday morning.
I'm so NOT a morning person but getting up at the crack of crazy is worth it when you're about to meet some of your closest online friends in real life for the very first time. I was nervous but I had to at least act relaxed or it would rub off on Roo. I only had a few minor meltdowns between walking into the airport and actually getting onto the airplane. Thank goodness that Trish was just a text away and Paul was there to hold my hand.

This is the face that she wore for *most* of the trip. She cried a little when we first got on the plane, she bumped her head on the armrest, but other than that she was the perfect flyer.

Oh my goodness! I can't even make words to describe what meeting these people meant to me. Lynn, Anne, Deej, Gloria, Bobby and Larry - I am STILL overwhelmed. Judi, Trish and Nancy, reuniting with you was a comfort that I needed. Wood/Larry, if Sparkpeople meet-ups have a wish list, you are/where top 5 of mine. I'm so glad that you and Luv made the trip and I got to get to meet you. You will forever be one of my Spark heros. I hope that someday our paths cross again. I am so thankful that this day happened the way that it did.
