Going Backwards and Starting Over - wedding pics :)

Tuesday, April 10, 2012

So last Saturday I got married!!
I have been struggling a lot lately in the build up to the wedding - mainly due to the fact I bought my wedding dress off the peg last August and then lost several more pounds (10 or so). We just couldn't afford to get it altered so I've had to put back on those pounds to fit in the dress!!!! Not something someone who has lost 100lb ever wants to be faced with!!
Here is me on the big day!!

Since the wedding (a week and a half ago) I have thrown my healthy lifestyle out the window and somehow gained 9lb!! I'm not sure this is fat gain - probably just eating junk has massively increased my salt intake so I'm retaining water, and I know wine has a similar affect and I've had planty of that this week!!
So it's now time to reassess my plan, and my goals.
I have reset my tracker and actually lowered myend goal a little - I am planning to achieve it by the time we go on our honeymoon at the end of July!
The one bonus this time is that my HUSBAND (still very excited saying that!!) also wants to drop a few lbs - he went to the doctors last week and found out he's put on over 30lb in the last 2 years!!!! So now we are doing it together with a set date in mind for getting in shape!!
Here we are last weekend!

So feeling positive and looking forward to making those changes again!!

You look great - and losing weight together is way easier than doing it alone! Hope you have a lovely honeymoon ...
