hmm, Jillian or Body Pump today?

Thursday, April 12, 2012

So just a quick update since last wk:

Easter & the next day were definitely not my finest nutrition days. It made me remember why I try to never keep sweets in the house. & I know that 2 days of good eating isn't enough to undo all that sugary damage I did Sunday & Monday. Still, I was sad to see the scale had gone up a couple pounds since last wk. I'm relatively sure that a good chunk of that is water weight, but it's still frustrating. Just hovering right around 150.

Anywho, the title of my blog just refers to what workout I feel like doing today. I've been doing Body Pump regularly for a month & for some reason today & just have no desire to do it. Well, probably workout boredom, haha. I'm thinking I might go old school Jillian w/ good ol' 30 Day Shred. Or hop on BodyRock.tv & find a workout I can modify for me & the hubs. Then maybe spin class tonight.

We're going to be out of town this wknd & the Y's babysitting service is only open in the morning on Fri, so this might be my last day for a great, sweat-drenched workout til Monday. In a small apartment w/ a hubby that works looong hours, a 2 yr old that's started waking up in the middle of the nights again & babysitting my friend's daughter, that babysitting service is a blessing! ...but daytime trips have been nonexistent for the last couple wks that I've had a restless toddler & extra kiddo.

& that toddler just pulled off her diaper! Aaaah! Have a great wknd, everyone!

LOL... do what your body is asking for... you'll probably get less of a workout if you do something you're not looking forward to... enjoy your weekend!
