Finding my Spark Again

Wow it`s been so long. I see my last blog entry was in Jan...and well since then I was trying and failing to get back into the spark mode.

Maybe I`d do ok for a few days, but alcohol really became my downfall. Obviously it is all tied up to my relationship and work problems, but it`s easier to intellectualise the reason than actually do the solution.

So I regained, alot. 33lbs abouts. I`m so embarrassed and dissapointed about that, after I found it hard to look at my spark page to see the comments saying well done, what an inspiration I am etc.

The past few weeks I`ve been getting used to tracking and eating in my ranges. I`ve been doing alot of home cooking, and that really helps. I will start posting about the great healthy meals I make to keep me motivated.

I`ve also started running again. The first few weeks it was a struggle, like I really just want to stay in bed. It`s still hard to get up, but at least now I`m starting to remember the energy I have after my run for the rest of the day.

Another thing that has helped me regain my spark is the program Supersize vs Superskinny (it`s on youtube). I have a huge crush on the presenter Dr Christian Jessen, he`s so firm but fair in his health talks, which is based around making lifestyle changes not dieting. So now I imagine Dr Jessen giveing me his `I`m really concerned...` speeches.

Plus he`s cute lol.

But long story short, I`ve regained weight, but I`ve regained my spark too. I need to keep being active on spark, to be accountable and to keep being motivated by all you other wonderful sparkers.
