Curried Split Pea Soup

I followed this recipie recipes.sparkpeople.com/
for curried split pea soup with a few adjustments. I had less split peas so made a smaller batch, but used the same amount of spices.
Turned out pretty good! It was almost like a watery dhal, I gues if you wanted it more soup like you could just blend it but I was too lazy to get the blender out and I like dhal anyway. I ate with a slice of rye bread.
The serving was HUGE, and only 166cals (my modifications) and 9 grams of fiber!
I love pulses!
