Hello spark friends! :D I know I've not been updating things on SparkPeople but I haven't forgotten... just been busy!
I'm on WEEK THREE of no pop! I am so proud of myself. I've never made it this far any time I've tried and now I don't even want it anymore. I never would beleive that I would make it to this point but I did... and I am so much happier for it! I've even dropped 4 lbs JUST from stopping pop alone! How amazing is that?
I was going to start the Couch-2-5k Program but my sister and I are both lacking good running shoes and so we decided to start with something else until we could acquire them. We are doing the Jullian Michaels 30 Day shred. I'm only on day two and I've never been so sore in my LIFE! I keep on telling myself, "It'll be worth it, it'll be worth it, it'll be worth it..." And it will. I already have a bit more energy during the day (despite the fact that my leg muscles feel like they are on fire sometimes) and I'm happier too. It really does help eat away stress. I can't beleive I never would do it before. I have a whole new set of motivation this time around and I KNOW I'm going to lose those pounds!
With that being said, I started at 250 and now weight 245.8. I'm so excited that the one small change made such a big difference. Now with adding exercise, I'm hoping I'll be able to lose more soon! Wish me luck! =)
