May (Mighty in mAny waYs)

My "taking it one week at a time" seems to be working fine for me.
Last week was "tracking" and "curbing the emotional eating", and I've got that under control now.
This week is "starting the Mighty hundreds" = building up to 100 push ups, 200 sit ups (my own version of them anyway) and 200 squats. Decided to skip the 150 dips program for now.

In May, I want to
- get on with the Mighty hundreds
- EAT CLEAN!!!
As I now know that I feel pressured when I set myself "long-term goals" (not that one month is all that long at all...), I've decided to take this, again, one week at a time. So, one week at a time of "clean eating" looks like this:
- If I can't track it, I'm not having it
- bread max 3 times a week, and pasta max 1 time a week
- NO emoticon, NO emoticon, and NO emoticon. WAIT! What? No emoticon??? Now you understand why I MUST take this a week, even a DAY at a time! Because the thought of NO chocolate for a whole month is just too much emoticon But I want to try, see how I feel.
- More green smoothies

Apart from that, I'm happily educating myself, this week by following the Food Revolution Summit broadcasts, and next week, all going well (I'm no technology wizz), following the Tapping World Summit. (Much credit is due to GIANTPANDA for sharing tons of useful info in her blogs. THANK YOU :-)

Something I heard this morning in one of the Food Revolution Summit broadcasts and which really resonated with me:

Now, what kind of energy do I want in my mind? Hearing this just reinforced my eating clean goal for this week and this month ;-)

    Good for you! Making goals and keeping them is so encouraging! I have been incorporating more exercise in my daily routine. The bootcamp challenge team gives me a 10 min. video to do each day for 28 days. emoticon

    emoticon Good to read you are doing so well! I was surprised by your goal to have bread 3x a week and pasta 1x a week. What about rice? Are you limiting it too? Is there a specific reason for limiting pasta and bread? What foods are you focusing on instead? (sorry, being very curious!)
