I did it!!!

I went past a potluck and a BBQ and both days I made wise choices and didn't overdo it! I was so Thankful that God gave me self control. I weighed in again yesterday and lost another 2lbs. I'm down 14lbs since February and 7lbs since Easter. Tracking my food has done wonders for me. It is a visual I count on everyday to help me keep within my limits! Exercise for me is still something I struggle with. But, had some fun playing with my daughters this last week doing Just Dance 3 and Zumba 2 on the wii.

Here are some pointers for partys, potlucks, and BBQ's I learned from watching Biggest loser episodes on Netflix.
#1 Go last in line...that way there might not be as much food left to indulge on
#2 Fill up your plate with good healthy stuff first, then there is less room for the bad stuff.
#3 Bring your own dish that is healthy and low fat/low cal. If all else fails, only eat that. :)
#4 Bring your own drink (I learned this last night, When all that was available to drink at my BBQ was SODA!)
