Another long week and ...

Monday, May 28, 2012

not enough time or gumption to exercise. Started hospice on Tuesday, had to call my brother down this weekend and inform friends and family that Mom is declining relatively rapidly. Kind of hoping this is a false alarm, but not holding hope for much longer than a couple weeks more at the most. So, blech. My brother got down here this morning; we spent the day off and on with Mom. Going to be hosting people/family here for Mom, and for graduation. Through this all, I will make sure the boyo walks the boards. Mom wants that, and still smiles every time I bring it up. Next Saturday, w00t!

Now, just gotta make time to exercise. Make the gumption to exercise. Make the gumption to eat just a little bit better more often. We will get there. It will go better with family.

Yes, it will go better with family. Congratulations on your son's graduation. I'm glad to hear your mom knows it is happening for him. Every last happy moment is to be cherished and remembered, Sheryl. You are a good daughter and need to embrace that and take it to heart. You are doing right by your mom. I'm praying for her comfort and for peace in your heart and in your life. Big Hugs. I'm always here if you need an ear.

You doing great remembering to eat during all the current stress. I am sure walking around th house or block will come naturally while you are on the phone with doctors relatives, lawyers, and other health professionals getting every thing organized. Gladyou brother was able to come help.

Hang in there you can make it.

Keeping good thoughts for you, your mom, and your family. Do what you can, when you can, for yourself. You will feel better for it.

Prayers are with you. It has been a few years since I experienced the same ordeal. It is difficult to remain focused on anything but your Mom, but how rewarding it is to be able to be there for her. At this time don't even worry about your diet or exercise. You will be able to get back to a healthier routine later. Having family there for support should help.
