Wedding week is over and now it's time to refocus!!!

Married my best friend on 5/19 and with the festivities and the holidays we had decided to just not worry about things for the week. So...very little exercise and not so healthy eating and here we are on the 29th of May with a renewed focus and new goals for the coming 12 weeks. With that said, I found myself at 214.2 pounds, up about 5.5 pounds. Not all that bad. So now it's time to train; we have two main events that are a definite, those being our first triathlon on June 23 and then the Crim Festival of Races 10 Mile on August 25. I'd like to add the Apple Cider Century bike ride at the end of September to the list but we'll see.
It is essential that we train for these so we have committed to 6 days of training per week. Until the tri we will spend two days on each discipline...run, bike and swim and I have to figure in two days of weight training in along with that. Once we have the tri is
under our belts then it is time to focus in the 10 Mile Crim, so less swimming for a while, if any; four days of running gradually building to the event. OH...I have also set as my weight loss goal for the 12 weeks to be 25 pounds. That's just about 8 pounds per week so I have to stay committed to our eating plans.
There you have it...my life for the next 12 weeks; all written down for my Sparkfriends to see and hopefully help be stay focused.
