    See this one? She talks about maintaining a deficit in order to lose 2-3 lbs a week.. so she's eating 1200 cal. a day and not less.. She's in the same group, I think and the info seems very different. I'm even MORE confused now.

    Do you think this is valid? Still in the middle of the first one.. But I went to the calculator you linked and it says I should be eating 2054 calories. Whew.. higher than I usually eat! I have been in my Spark range of 1600-1850 lately.. BMR is 1767 according to this site, but for SparkPeople it says my BMR is 2121.. Weird, huh? I don't know what to think now. I am going to watch this again a few times. I guess I shouldn't worry if I'm eating a LITTLE more if it's healthy stuff. LIke whenI'm up super late, I often get very hungry and have had a late night greek yogurt on occasion - the last two nights, anyhow.. Thanks for sharing this. It gives me a lot to think about.

    I'd love to find the website, blog or whatever this is, behind the videos! I can't watch them fast enough. Maybe THIS is why I've plateaued for so long, because according to that calculator, I've been regularly eating 100-400 fewer calories per day than the calculator recommends for my activity level using EM2LW's formula of 15% deficit for Cut Value. And I've been doing it for nearly two years, which another of their videos tells me means I need a 'diet break' at the maintenance level--fully 450 calories above the top of the range I have been using! And even that is higher than SP's calculations.

    Since I've already somewhat started due to 3 weeks of travel or entertaining, and in another month will be on vacation for a week and a half, I'm going to go up to near maintenance level for a metabolism reset. That should let me know whether this is working for me or whether I'll have to double down later to take weight back off. My BL Summer challenge teammates may not be happy with me, but after all, it's MY life.

    Now the challenge will be to add those calories with healthy food, rather than sweets and chips. emoticon

    This is very interesting. I checked my spark tracker and it is right on with what she is saying. I'm one of those people who do lay in bed a lot but I do exercise so hopefully I'm right in line.
