Spring is in the air

We all had a wonderful family day yesterday. We hung out, joked a lot, laughed a lot, enjoyed some nice conversations, deep and shallow, and then took a nap. When we all woke up again, we decided to go the YMCA to work out together. I love those family workouts, we did different things, but ended up crossing paths frequently. The girls ended up walking on the treadmills watching TV for most of the time, Craig and I lifted dumbells together, and then parted ways for me going to the leg machines and him doing his own thing for a while. Before Spark, this was just a dream of mine, and now I pull everyone along. Actually I was going to go to water aerobics at 8am with the girls, but when I looked at the clock, it was 7:40, and I didn't want to rush. Even that felt good, to slowly get up and start making tea, cuddling the puppies, and when I looked outside, I saw that the sun was up, and the birds are singing. I love those mornings. So I logged on to Spark to jot down my feelings, and I realize, I couldn't be happier at this time. I even found two smoke trees to plant at ALDI's. They are the bushes I keep seeing all around, and call Truffula Trees, because they have such fluffy pink stuff growing all over. They look like they were created by Dr. Seuss. So I will spend a good part of the morning, deciding where to plant them in my yard when the time is right. It is still way too cold at night to plant anything fresh out there, but at least I have them. Now I just need to find a few Barbaloot figurines to put under them, so they can play under the Truffula trees in their Barbaloot suits..... I would love to create a Dr. Seuss garden, but they don't sell garden gnomes in Dr. Seuss animal style. That is really too bad.
