Well sparkies, I am SO happy to report that I finally had the perfect weekend! Since the end of the week is typically what is known to ruin me diet and fitness wise, I asked my fiance on Friday afternoon if we could have a 'clean' weekend where we focused on making ourselves healthy and fit! Sort of a detox weekend, and mostly to prove to myself that I actually CAN make it through the weekend feeling proud of myself! This meant eating only foods that did not come from a box/container (with the exception of bread) and working out each day! Since the fiance is a literal ketchup and soya sauce addict... this was a challenging weekend for him and he was actually a bit MAD at me on friday night for 'making' him do this! lol :)
So, here's the low down...
Friday - went to gym at lunch, ran on the treadmill. Also did the Jillian Michaels Ripped in 30 DVD...I actually convinced my fiance to do this with me, too!. Took the dogs for a nice LONG walk and the dog park. Had a sort of a stir fry but with NO sauce, just fresh veggies, chicken and spices! Stayed within calorie range and did 1 hr of exercise!
Saturday - made my fiance a scrambled egg meal with a side of oatmeal, a banana, grapes and bell peppers. Made myself scrambled eggs as well, just modified so that it would be less cals for me since I need less. Did the Jillian Michael's Extreme Shed and Shred. Did some walking around stores while window shopping... made us both a mexican type salad for lunch, and then made us both burritos for dinner! His were wrapped in tortillas, and mine was wrapped in savoy cabbage leaves! Stayed in cal range, and worked out... sucess!
Sunday - made us both 'cottage cheese oatmeal pancakes' from a recipe I found here on sparks! It was pretty good actually, and we both ate them without syrup! Major success because Devon was not wanting me to make the pancakes for breakfast because we weren't allowed to have syrup lol. Yes, I know that cottage cheese comes form a container... but this weekend was mostly about being healthy and these pancakes were for sure healthy! I did Jillian Michaels Ripped in 30... for lunch I had a nice salad, and then for dinner I had a tomato chicken bake with tons of fresh veggies! Stayed in cals range again!
And, we did not have a single drop of alcohol all weekend long! It was such a great weekend and I feel SO good right now! Usually on Monday's I feel bloated, huge, and SO disappointed in myself. Today though.. I really do feel awesome and like I can meet my target by my wedding date! Which really is the biggest reason I have so much committment right now.
Next weekend will be about trying to find a better balance between this healthful weekend that we just had.. and the more outgoing weekends we usually have, where alcohol and snacks are present!

Monday - gym - treadmill, jillian - 30 mins
Tuesday - gym - elliptical, yoga - 20 mins
Wednesday - gym - treadmill, yoga - 20 mins
Thursday - gym - elliptical, jillian - 30 mins
Friday - gym - treadmill, yoga - 20 mins
Saturday - jillian - 60 mins
Sunday - REST
And - I plan to stay on target for my food choices! I know that I will be having some champagne on Tuesday.. because we're having our friends over who just got engaged on the weekend to celebrate, but I am going to keep it to one glass and I will stay in all my ranges!
